St James’s is a relatively small area in Central London in the Borough of the City of Westminster. It is surrounded by Piccadilly to the north, Haymarket to the east, Green Park to the west and St James’s Park to the south.

The proximity to beautiful green spaces, to shops, restaurants and to the River make this part of London an increasingly popular area for those looking for excellent quality accommodation in the centre of town.  You’ll find high-quality office and residential developments side by side with some of London’s quirkiest historic buildings like Blewcoats School -built in 1709 by a London brewer to provide education for poor children.

It is well connected by both the Underground and Overground services and Buckingham Palace is just a few minutes away! This elegant, relatively quiet enclave of London is home to some of the most impressive houses in the capital.

St. James’s is well known for its many gentlemen’s clubs. This doesn't have the same connotation as it does elsewhere: these aren't strip clubs. Rather, they're social clubs where men from the aristocracy, military, and business hang out.

Shops and stores dot the streets of St. James’s, focusing on quality inventory over quantity. You won’t find surplus stores or mass-produced items here. There are some interesting antiques stores where you can find actual pieces of history. You'll also find cutting edge art galleries, cigar makers, and bespoke tailors.

It cannot go without mentioning that St. James’s is anchored by what is probably the most popular tourist spot in London: the official home of the Queen, Buckingham Palace.

St James’s Park offers fantastic transport links with St James’s Park and Green Park Underground close by giving you access to the District, Victoria and Piccadilly line. There are also several reliable bus routes to access all areas of central London. Both St James's Park and Green Park provide an abundance of green space and in the summer, Green Park put out deck chairs for you to enjoy.

The theatres of the West End are close by, along with a wide range of fashionable bars and night clubs. An abundance of high street brands on New Bond Street and famous names make St James's Park a perfect central location for shoppers.

St James’s is quintessentially the finest of British, characterised by: Royal Parks; genteel streets dedicated to British tailors and hand-crafted shoes; original masterpieces and modern art in some of Europe's leading galleries and auction houses; fine fare from the grocers to the Queen, Fortnum & Mason; a splash of glamour at The Ritz; Clubs such as The Atheneum, Whites and Boodles. These are all defined by one thing: a commitment to the very best of British.
