In Latin, Aquila is the word for eagle, and while these magnificent birds are not actual residents of the villa, they do often come to visit. Perhaps drawn by the luxury…or perhaps they come for the view.
From the infinity pool stretching to the horizon and an expansive property spanning 165 metres of rugged coastline, all around is natural serenity and uncompromised privacy.

Rates
Prices start at $1650/per night (low season - May 1st - Nov 30th inclusive) based on a 3-night stay.
Maximum occupancy is 8 Adults and 2 children (no exceptions).
Guests have the exclusive use of entire villa and a choice of bedrooms.
All rates are subject to a 7% service charge and 10% tax for a total of 17.7%
Despite being of a very high standard, the Aquila does not use a restaurant pricing system for its meals. Rather clients are charged 20% in addition to grocery/market cost of food items to compensate for staff time and transport costs. For any beverages purchased, alcohol or normal, the same charges apply.

"Our family recently spent a few leisurely days at The Aquila in Phuket, being pampered. What a contrast to our previous visits to Phuket and the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. On leaving the airport, we were driven past the beautiful Kamala Beach before following the Andaman Coast over several headlands to the entrance to The Aquila.
The Aquila boasts world class facilities, exceptional accommodation and service. For our family, everything revolved around the infinity pool perched above the ocean. We were either swimming or in the Salas at either end relaxing, eating and enjoying a glass of wine. My wife enjoyed sitting in the comfort of sprawling lounge and library area behind where she spent her days reading or watching movies. The formal dining area at the Villa is lovely but we preferred to eat all our meals outdoors and make the most of the perfect weather and be right next to the view.
Sleeping accommodation featured high ceilings with full height windows to take in the ocean views listening to the waves lapping the rocks below. We slept with the doors open every night to enjoy the cool air and the sound of the ocean.
Our chef provided us with an endless variety of dishes, all staff were friendly and competent but not intrusive and spoke good English. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, luxuriating around the pool, eating and drinking, great sunsets and all in complete privacy in our own cove. We look forward to many more visits to Aquila. Thank you for making our stay one we will never forget."

WHAT’S AROUND?
The Aquila rests on a quiet road in the hills around the of town Kamala, Phuket known as ‘Millionaire’s mile’ owing to the many other luxury villas and resorts found on this road.
The Villa is set in a gated compound away from the road, which rises and falls with the terrain, and is bordered by jungle on both sides, and nothing but ocean in front. Although the location is secluded, it is a mere 10 minutes’ drive to Kamala Beach, there you will find a great swimming beach, shopping, restaurants and the HQ and Café del Mar beach clubs.
Another 15-20 minutes will take you to Bangtao and Surin Beach with notable beachfront establishments as Catch and then into the Laguna area which host a number of notable restaurants such as Bampot, Siam Supper Club. Heading in the other direction, 20 minutes’ drive to the south will lead you to the touristic and raucous centre of Patong, which offers some upscale eating spots such as Acqua restaurant.
