Chateau Coutanseaux was the oldest Fine Champagne Cognac house, and official Cognac to the Swedish Royal Family, making only 1000 bottles a year until production finished in 1960. The family have offered Iridium Luxury's wine guru, Tom Harrow, exceptionally rare single bottles from his family’s private library including a hand-written note thanking the new owner for “taking the bottles in to a new family” as he put it.

We can supply individual bottles of 1875, 1880, 1893 and 1914.
As mentioned only 1000 bottles a year were made, half of which were taken by the Swedish Royal Family and the house stopped production in 1960. These are not available anywhere except when occasionally unearthed in ancient cellars and put up for auction but here the provenance is impeccable – straight from the family cellars.
