The largest classic auxiliary ketch in Holland at the time of the original build - 100 feet was considered a giant 70 years ago - it was the start of a remarkable project.
IDUNA has the Feadship factor - built by the De Vries yard in Aalsmeer and designed by Henri de Voogt - both founder members of Feadship in 1949, which would become the number one builder of luxury yachts in the world. In 1999 she was then the subject of one of the most remarkable yacht restorations ever to be attempted.
IDUNA is one of the finest pieces of maritime history afloat today. Maintained regardless of cost, she is the Rolls-Royce or Bentley of the yachting world - a very special yacht.
